i made the big mistake. microsoft gave me one chance and i blew it. on my first use of ie i agreed to have all online media opened "in explorer" and to "remember my choice." is there anyway i can get it to open wmp again instead of having it open in explorer? god who comes up with these ideas at microsoft???

try opening a command prompt-click start-run-
type in cmd-click ok, then type
assoc.wmp=WMPFile and press enter
if you need to associate any other files the
list can be found here.
to check your file associations, in the command prompt type assoc and press enter, you can scroll thru them and see what they are set to.

Hi Hooner;

Good advice once again.
Sure glad you came along.

I had the same issue a long time back.
But I don't remember what I did to fix it.

I hope it helps Michael.
Maybe he will let you know.

Thanks for the tip.
