hey guys, when i try to open windows media player, it says that the progam is not installed properly and told me to log on to an administrator account to install the programs. i don't know how this happened and i tried reinstall the program and it doesn't work. i also tried system restore and there was no result. someone plz help. thx a lot!

What is the version of media player you where using??

If u where using Media player 10 then Uninstall it to media player 9 and then reinstall media player 10 patch and it should work fine.

WMP10 requires SP2. I installed WMP10 without SP2 & it made a mess. Could not uninstall it. Had to do a format.
