How do you uninstall WMP? It does not show up in add/remove. I am having trouble with it.

Maybe I should install Winamp?

Any ideas

Thank you for any help

Did you click the "add / remove windows components" ?? Seems as though it's gotta be there.....
Definitely check out Winamp; a very stable and reliable player. I use it for all my audio and video.

Hi Harry,

If it's WMP 9 you're talking about, then I think that one is 'un-uninstallable'. BillGates was kinda hoping you'd have System Restore turned on before you installed WMP9.

Try reinstalling it, or elaborate on the error here or try to fix it. Go through the link above for a FAQ.

[I'm not sure if this is valid for WMP9:]
If you installed WMP9 directly over the net, then try downloading the stand-alone .exe installer program and reinstall it from your own computer.

Or follow Tommyo's excellent suggestion, and get another mediaplayer in case BillGates lets you down again. He's been known to do that...
