I have a problem playing videos with Windows Media Player. Particularly this one.

http://everquest2.station.sony.com/img_viewer.jsp?name=eq2_cg_trailer.wmv&collection=eq2_movies

The video will skip constantly and freeze up before jumping to the next frame. I found that going into WMP's settings and unchecking "skip frames to sync with AV" or something had the video running smoothly but with incorrect sound (it was either way way ahead or way way behind). What's the deal?

1 - let the video run through once if its skipping and jumping ahead, and then when its finished play it again.

2 - download Dr. DivX from www.divx.com

let me know if it still doesnt work
