Hello :)
I had some problems with my Windows Media Player lately.
Firstly, it dint support any of the Filetypes.
After trying all types ov Codec packs & other stuff, I finally Repaired my Win XP.
Now my WMP is opening files properly.
But now, whenever I minimise my WMP, the Mini Player doesnt appear in the Toolbar.
And there is no option for to tick in the toolbar options.

I have also registered the Wmpband.dll file. But it hasnt solved my problem. Please help me !!
Thanks !! :)

You have the Taskbar locked & you don't have Quick Launch enabled. And I'd bet you have 'Group similar taskbar buttons' enabled as well. Try tweaking your Taskbar & Start Menu Properties.

But those settings were same even when the Mini Player used to work. :(

You probably dint check the Image link that I gave above. There is no "Windows Media Player" option in Toolbars.
Any ways thank you for your responses. :)
Any other way to get it? :(

I would do as jam has suggested. I've had problems with this in one way or another for a few years now and finally rested the blame on Window Blinds but was wrong. It turned out to be the locked taskbar. Even though the toolbar menuitem appeared, checking it would do nothing even with the taskbar unlocked. One day I was playing around with the taskbar unlocked, dragged it to the left side when all of sudden the WMP toolbar appeared on the taskbar. I dragged the taskbar back down to the bottom with the WMP toolbar still in place. After that I could lock the taskbar and the WMP toolbar would work as normal but if WMP or Win crashed while testing something out, I would have to repeat the process. I finally gave in and have left the taskbar unlocked permanently.

I tried that too...... no Success :(
The "Windows Media Player" option is still not back.
Anyways thanks a lott for your Reply ! :)
