WIndows Media Player- Problem

CPU/Ram: 1.2ghz 1gb ram

I cant foward or skip any parts when I use windows media player, I cant use the slider to skip a part it doesnt let me do that...

only when i use real player it lets me foward... any ideas ?

I find that certain files played on Wmp will do that. It must be in the way they are recorded, that's all I can think of

no way , im 100% sure you can skip parts with the slider... all you would normally have to do is slide it to the right and you can goto certain parts of the movie...

just on my windows media player i cant do it ... so wierd

I get this on certain files too. Basically WMP is one of the worst players for compatibility and that's just the way it is so use another player.

Hey sorry to get back so late, just wanted to keep you updated... I just upgraded to WMP11 and it fixed the problem...
