Hey guys. I just receintly bought an iPod and I want to transfer all my five star rated songs from Windows Media Player to the iPod. They are all over my computer so I dont where to look for them and I was wondering if it was possible for me to save all the songs that I have in my five star rated library to a folder in My Documents so that I could then look for these songs and transfer them to the iPod. I already tried the sync utility that Windows Media Player has and it didnt work. I need to do it through iTunes. Thanks in advanced.

If the tunes in Windows media are protected, the iPod won't touch them. you can export any playlists you have to the desktop, open the file, and then look for the files manually, and copy then in windows explorer to the iTunes directory. They need to be .mp3 files for iTunes to use them. They cannot be .wma or any other.

If they are protected, you can LEAGALLY convert them with a program called tunebite.
