Comment:

I just downloaded Windows Media Player 11 Beta but it started acting weird. When I open it it stays open for at least a minute or two then it closes by itself.

It kept doing that so I decided to uninstall it and keep the version that I had before which is WMP 10.

Still it does it with WMP 10 too.

Then a message appears that if I should block windows media player or not because the file is infected.

I runned "SYSTEM MECHANIC 6 PROFESSIONAL" to clean all the viruses whatever and it keeps doing that. WMP closes by itself.
WHAT DO YOU THINK I SHOULD DO????

Sorry for the late response.

I would probably run a dedicated virus cleaner (I use AVG - http://grisoft.com) and then try to run the media player again.

If it still doesn't work I would uninstall both Windows Media Player 10 and 11 beta, and then reinstall 10 only

This is the link to Windows Media Player 10 download:

Please reply whether or not your problem is resolved,

Thanks
