On my stepdaughters PC we can't get Windows Live Messenger to open. I've removed and downloaded the latest version at least three times. When we click the icon or shortcut nothing happens? Any ideas? We're using (or trying to use) Windows Live Messenger 8.1. I've run Crap Cleaner & Advanced Windows care to clean up.

Are you installing as an Admin? Have you tried with different XP user accounts other than your daughter's?

No, I'm not installing it as an Admin. But I was able to download and install MSN Mess 5 and it works fine.
