Specs: Windows XP, 3 GHz / 1919 MB
The past several times I have used WLM the video box of myself had a big red X in it. When I test the camera I can see myself.
This Christmas morning my wife and I were going to share a video conversation with our family and THEIR video box had a red x in it. They could see themselves but we could not see them. They could see us and we could see ourselves. I think the problem in on my end but I don't know how to correct it. Help?

William Lockie, the red X in a nutshell means that you've tried to access a graphic on the web and for whatever reason, that access failed. It could ve due to a number of things. First thing I'd do is try using a different critter to create it. 'Irfanview' is an excellent graphics proggie and you can get it FREE @:
May not be your deal at all, but worth a try IMHO.
