my laptop is was fine last night a was left on as usual but the charger wasnt pluged in, in the morn it was turned off, i put charger back in, turned on and see xp screen then it says "windows is starting up" forever but not frozen as mouse still works. if i go into safe mode it boots fine, if i do a scandisk it loads fine but if i restart it, its back to "windows is starting up".
laptop is 1month old never bumped, but i did notice the scandisk took longer at about 55%-57% but at the end it said no suface errors.
is there a log in windows i could read for the scandisk and what was the command to run box to see and change the files been started that i could untick/tick
