It seems my Microsoft Windows Installer is not working. How can i repair this problem?Thanks.

This error is probably the result of a damaged registration service. To resolve this issue:-
1. Start, Run and type cmd
2. Type msiexec /unregister (note the space) and press Enter
3. Type msiexec /regserver (note the space) and press Enter

And/or download the Windows Installer clean-up utility from here http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;290301

Reinstall Internet Explorer an choose the option to reinstall. Should work.

windows installer is in the add/remove programs menu.. uninstall it and then go to windows update site .. it will re-install with the latest version.
