Recently whenever I open Microsoft Word or Outlook, the Windows intaller automatically starts to run and tries to install Mappoint, which I loaded about a year ago. I then have to cancel the installationa to continue. Any help to get rid of this would be appreciated.

You are gonna have to give it the CD and let it finish.
Installer won't stop bugging you until you do.
Something has triggered it to need to install something from that CD.
More than likely and upgrade of some sort, or a missing file.
