Very rarely, completely out of the blue, an Empty Recycle Bin command ends up with a question prompt:
Are you sure you want to delete 'Windows'?
Even if I click Yes, it doesn't do anything; it simply spits an error:
Cannot delete file: Cannot read from source file or disk.
Hm...the same thing has happened just now with something else that I had just emptied from the recycle bin. I had just removed a shortcut to 'Newsbin Pro', but then the recycle bin still had the "full" icon, so I emptied it once again...only to get the message:
Are you sure you want to delete 'NewsBin Pro'?
Same deal here. What's going on?

Are you a carefull deleter?
if so disable the recycle bin, right click properties > Global > check Do not move files to.

Sounds like corrupt files causing the problem. You can bypass the Recycle Bin by holding down Shift key and pressing delete.
