I just got done doing a clean install of my OS, and now everytime I bootup two folders open up on each boot. I left two folders open on accident on reboot. And now everytime I bootup they open up on my desktop.
I have checked in Tools, Folder Options, View and made sure that "Restore Previous Folder Windows On Login" is unchecked. I have checked my startup folder, msconfig and both of my Document and Settings (All Users and specific user) folder.
I cannot figure out why they keep opening. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I looked under there and what they suggest is going into the run folder in the registry. And its not in there. There is only one item in there and it has nothing to do with either of those folders.
Im stuck lol.

If you just did a clean install of Windows XP why don't you just wipe your machine clean again and do another install. It will probably be faster just to do that instead of banging your head against the wall trying to figure out this problem.
