every time i load windows in every user, the windows folder opens automatically. i went to the msconfig and it was there, in the init tab. i unchecked it, but the next time i loaded windows, the same thing happened again. anybody knows what the problem is?

i got the same problem each time i turn on my comput a lot of programs and windows open for no reasons ...and each time my compute freeze for about 2 minutes...i checked to find the startup folder ...i found it and deleted the shortcuts ...but it did nothing...it still does the same thing

Any shortcuts or even full programs that you place inside the Startup folder will run automatically each time you start Windows. The items displayes in a particular user's Startup folder actually come from two places: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup and C:\Documents and Settings\username\Start Menu\Programs\Startup where username denotes a your user account configured on the computer. So, try to remove it from the above two folders.
