Reply: (edit)Unfortunately that didn’t help But thanks. And this is interesting to note as well. I thought it was only me this was happening to. But I can be playing games at time and suddenly the game will minimize on the desktop. All on its own. And I have to click on it in the taskbar to bring it back up. And then I can play on it. This is really amazing. I had googled and got some threads on other sites of people reporting THEIR games were minimizing as well but no resolve was ever posted. TweakUI didn’t help. The registry was already set for the settings that had been suggested before. I mean I don’t know if I have been hacked or not. Its weird how when the focus is being stolen. I just happened to look down at my taskbar and down in my Zone Alarm icon in the taskbar. It almost looks like there is some sort of arrow on it. And then after a few seconds it disappears.. sigh..

Reply: (edit)this is an update. i just found this out after i mentioned the Zone Alarm arrow. i went to zonelabs and checked on their forum. and sure enough. apparently the issue IS Zonealarm.. it doesnt say specifically what it is doing. but it will steal the focus no matter what application you are using. .. apparently the solution is right clicking on the ZA icon in the taskbar and selecting game mode.. i read up on that and.. well for all practical purposes it is worthelss. but at least now i know what is happening. thanks again guys.
