I keep getting this windows file protection message reading something along the lines of "files where replaced tah trequier windows to run proberly, insert the windows xp cd" and i do and the message goes away but if i were to take the cd out of the cd-rom it just ends up co,ming back within like 5, 10 minutes, so it's like i just have to keep the cd in there. Anyone know what's going on?

The following site may well explain your problem, which would seem to a missing or corrupted file...anyway, try this site:

just a thought.

Sorry...that is not a good address...try this:

www.techspot.com%2Ftweaks%2Fwfp%2Findex.shtml&c=33

or failing that...do a "windows file protection" search at google.com.
