CPU/Ram: n/s

i'm having a problem with windows explorer not coming up, when i start the computer and the background comes up and thats it, no start menu or icons, i can hit ctl+alt+del and make a new task: explorer and run and then everything will come up like nothing is wrong. is it spyware or hard drive or what?

neither worked, that file they talked about is not there, there is nothing to remove.
