Thanks for the info. I have run CCleaner, Advanced Windows Care and Super Anti-spy ware. Also I have done a deep scan with Avast anit Virus and Norton Anti virus and found nothing on any of them. John, Get rid of these and if your not using the Dell stuff, take those out also. They won't affect your programs, just your browser behavior. There are a few others that could go also. They don't need to start with your borwser, but let's see if this clears up anythng first. And the Yahoo stuff should go too, but you may want some of it, However, Yahoo is a known trouble maker. Thanks for the help! I removed these and I still have the problem. I tried to put a post on the Virus forum, but it did not take. I think that the computer must have locked up when I submitted. I really appreciate your taking time for this. I can post on the virus forum if that makes more sense. I'm replying on openSUSE so I don't have to reboot every few minutes.
