Hello

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. Heres my problem.

Lets say I double click on Internet Explorer it will take about 10 seconds to actually open and then when it does it shows me the yahoo homepage. When I try to search for something or open up a website everything is sooo slow...I have a cable modem and everything was running superfast about 2-3 weeks ago and I dont have a clue what the problem could be. I even tried formatting my computer but im still having the same problem. Anyone have any idea please let me know.

Tried formatting could be some of what ails you!You either formatted and reinstalled everything or you didn't....which is it?

Clean up the system....run the anti-spyware/malware programs....clean the cache, prefetch files and temp files. After it is clean use a registry cleaner to clean the registry...then defrag the harddrive

free programs:
spywareblaster
spybot S&D
Adaware SE
ATF cleaner
Ccleaner ......for both temp files and registry cleaner

google is your frie4nd

If none of that works, a good zero of the hard disk and reinstall is always a good start.

I have a domain controller that handles user accounts and user documents so it's very easy for me to wipe a client machine with little-to-no loss of user settings.
