Hello Thank you for taking the time to read my post. Heres my problem. Lets say I double click on Internet Explorer it will take about 10 seconds to actually open and then when it does it shows me the yahoo homepage. When I try to search for something or open up a website everything is sooo slow...I have a cable modem and everything was running superfast about 2-3 weeks ago and I dont have a clue what the problem could be. I even tried formatting my computer but im still having the same problem. Anyone have any idea please let me know.

Clean up the system....run the anti-spyware/malware programs....clean the cache, prefetch files and temp files. If none of that works, a good zero of the hard disk and reinstall is always a good start. I have a domain controller that handles user accounts and user documents so it's very easy for me to wipe a client machine with little-to-no loss of user settings.
