Hi all!
I created shortcuts to network locations that I don't want to browse to all the time.
I added these shortcuts to the "link" bar of windows explorer (not IE!), so that I would get to that location with only one click. So far so good. But I don't like the way it's working:
- when I click on such a "favorite" link, explorer opens a new window.
- the new window is not an explorer view, it is a "folder" view. This means that the icon in the window bar is a folder _without_ the magnifier, and that the folder left pane is not shown by default. Instead I get a useless blue left pane that lets me create a new folder, pusblish on the web, etc.
- since the new window is not a window explorer, the favorite links toolbar is not shown either. As you might understand, I want these shortcuts to change the working directory of the current winexplorer window, without changing any pane.
Thanks in advance!

Create a link like this:
YouPersonalNetwork.lnk
%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e,C:\folder
where driveletter and folder must be edited for your needs.

This works fine, thanks a lot!
It is still opening in a new window though. I could live with that, but better without.
Do you know how to do that?
