Windows XP SP2, when I try to connect to a network share at a different location, same domain, using the START then RUN and type in the UNC, I get to the share but after a few seconds Windows Explorer crashes and then closes and I loose my desktop icons for about 10 seconds. If I do the same exact thing from Windows 2000 it is fine.
