Getting this error message loading c:\windows\system32\lyjhcanr.dll. What can I do tto fix this , and can I fix it without restalling installing window xp. Thanks!

It doesn't seem like a legitimate windows file, so you may want to do some spyware removal. Lots of free ones listed in my link on one page that are fully functional

I agree with the above response. The dll could be an orphan file left over from a program that has been removed.
Does the computer go on to boot OK?
Try running a registry cleaner. CCleaner has a registry module that is decent. Very good at it's primary job of cleaning up crap too.

Thanks for the replies. I think I fix it. I restored the computer to a earlier date. Also looks like my nephew had downloaded a program that was causing him problems to. Thanks Again for the replys.
