When I download a large file after ahile the server resets and I lose the whole download!..I thought they fixed this?

Couple of questions...
1) Where are you downloading from? 2) What type of connection do you have, (Broadband, Dialup, Mobile)? 3) How large of a file does it take to have a server reset, eg: Can you dl a 40MB and not a 45MB? 4) Who is the "they" who were to have fixed this??

What type of connection do you have, (Broadband, Dialup, Mobile)?
How are you doing the update? Through Start - Programs - Windows Update or through Automatic updates?
Have you tried just doing one update at a time if there are more than one available?
Please answer all questions so that proper trouble shooting may be attempted.
