HEY I shutdown my pc properly last night and then when i switched it back today..It will load good up to windows xp page. but when it tries to load the welcome screen, it reboots instead.
I tried using safe mode, restore, last configuration that work, nothing works, it reboots the pc instead of loading welocme screen. i changed the cmos setting, booted pc from win xp cd to repair. now i shud try to use recovery console or? repair xp as in reinstalling?

sounds like the blaster virus, look it up in google.com and it will help you get rid of the virus. Hopefully all ur critical up-dates have been done on windows
