This has been happening just in the last three days. as soon as I try to take out the CD from the CD drive, the computer crashes goes to a blue screen with lots of different codes and errors. no spyware, no virus, could it be the CD drive itself going bad, and pulling more voltage from the motherboard ?
Or what could it be?
Your help is greatly appreciated.

Write down the code numbers-particularly the first couple, and post them here or do a Google search. You should also go to Administrative Tools/…/Event Viewer and click on the event corresponding to when a particular BSOD happened.

That happened to me once, I took the cd out before it was done reading from the cd and it caused a crash...?

OMG don't judge me!

What CD were you trying to take out ? As response 2 suggested, was it still trying to read from the CD ?

I agree. Is it possible the drive is being accessed? Does this happen for all CDs?
