Recently I've been getting a yellow Caution icon in my taskbar saying "Windows - Corrupt File".
It goes on to say "The file or directory C:\Document and Settings\My Name\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\WTM34P6V is corrupt and unreadable.
Please run the Chkdsk Utility."So I run the Chkdsk utility, and it does nothing, just runs and finishes.
I run Disk Cleanup to empty the Temp folders, and that doesn't work either.
I trace the folder and file it mentions, and it doesn't exist. In fact, the directory it lists is incorrect, because the Content.IE5 folder is in Temp/Temporary Internet Files.
I even deleted all the files and hidden files in the Content.IE5 folder, and this warning still appears.
Has anyone heard of this and possibly know a remedy?
Thanks.

Try renaming the Temporary Internet File to a different name then create a new one with the old name in the correct location. (Probably need to have your browser closed). If it works you then should try and remove the old one through Windows Explorer.
