Can anybody help me with a problem that l am getting?
I have only had Windows xp and a reformat for 3 weeks but am getting
this message in the task bar by the clock:
Windows Corrupt File
The file or directory C:\WINDOWS\system32 is corrupt and unreadable.
Please run the Chkdsk Utility

l typed that in the 'run' window but nothing happened, as you can
imagine l know little about the runnings of a computer.

OK, Insert the WinXP CD into the Drive, go to "run" and type sfc /scannow then OK. This will replace all missing and corrupt system files. Good luck

Cheers the Peter
