Windows Cannot find Setup.exe.

CPU/Ram: 1.33GHz/ 512 Ram

Hi, i've just installed a new DVD-ROM combo drive in one of my computers and when i go to read a cd it comes with the message:

Windows cannot find Setup.exe. This program is needed for openining files of type 'File'.

it then asks to to browse for the file!

Any ideas?

There was one of a similiar problem yesterday.
Only his was upon boot up.

He fixed by doing a search, and delete operation
in Registry for
D:\Setup.exe

Description
of the Microsoft Windows Registry

Print the article for reference.

Backup all your data before messing with Registry.

Or Maybe check for, and remove SpyWare.
Here

Here is another that is at most computer stores,
including Office Depot, Office Max:
Spyware X-terminator

Also, be sure to update any software online
after installation, and every 1-2 weeks.
