Comment:

I have a problem come up today after installing Zone Lab Pro some days ago which could well be connected with one of the configurations in this program or something else.

The error code was:

Windows application error :
Failed to initialize properly
(0xc0000017)

When this happened I was unable to control my computer with the curzer even though I was well connected to my ISP and when I tried to go into <Restore> I was unable to do so.

Can someone tell me what this is and how it can be avoided from happening again? Have not had any other PC problems for years.

Yes, I have checked your link which was useful but somehow the problem has resolved itself for awhile. Hope it lasts!

Would getting an <extra 256 RAM> enable more virtual memory?
