I have a couple of browser questions. First, I added the Windows Address bar to my desktop so I can do a quick internet search. If I type in an address (ie www.google.com) it brings up Firefox as it should (because FF is my default browser). However if I add a folder to the Windows Address Bar toolbar with a bookmark, so I'll have an internet shortcut, the link is automatically opened in IE. How do I make it open in FF by default? Also, if I use the address bar, the address I type in always open in a new FF tab instead of a new window. Is it possible to have the link open in a new browser window by default?
If you right click on the shortcut and go properties, you should have a window appear and under the tab general, click where it says what the default program will be and there should be a list of all the disk utilities on your pc, and simply double click firefox and then press the ok button down the bottom, if that doesn't work you may need to right click every time and go 'open with' and go frirefox. Reply if that doesn't work there are other ways of doing it
