Could anyone tell me if there is a download, for all existing updates, for Windows 98 in one package. I am reloading Windows 98 on my sisters computer and she has a very slow 56k internet conection, I would like to find somewhere I could download all updates from my machine, which has a cable modem and would only take me a few minutes. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't think that you can do what you hope to do for free.M$ sells the cd for like $20 and they mail it to you. But i don't think that you can download the files and burn them to a disc that way. They will not allow another pc to download files it does't need through their update site. If you knew exactly what files they were you may be able to download individual files and then burn them that way but it would take longer looking up the files..downloading...burning them than how long it would take to just download the files tothe pc to start with. You can do it in different time frames so as not have to sit there or just resign yourself to the task and do it.

p.s.
Why not just take your sisters pc home with you and do it with the cable connection. You are going to be going back and forth anyway.

She doesn't have a lan card and mine is on the motherboard, so I can't pull it out of my PC and put it in hers.

k_semler,
Thank you, that should get me up and going until I can get the CD from Microsoft.
