Windown Update Icon & Downloader.Istbar

Microsoft Windows xp home edition w/sp2

Specs: Windows XP
My pc was recently infected with the Downloader.Istbar virus. Used Malwarebytes and AVG and it says it got it, but upon infection, the "updates ready to install" windows tray icon appeared and I figured it was the dloader agent cause anytime I initiated the dload, "agent.exe" would appear in my processes and consumed 100% CPU usage. Finally figured out that to stop "agent.exe" from running I also had to end "ISUSBM.exe". I got my CPU back and all scans are coming up clear (Malwarebytes, AVG, Adv System Care), but the Update icon reamins. Just to be human, I clicked and updated it once, and it bought back the afore mentioned processes, but no virus. Any advice?

djpaulygon, SWAG, sorta a 'shot in the dark', but... I suspect the nasty is hiding in 'restore'. When you cleaned, it didn't delete it from restore as restore can't be accessed/altered while active (keeps us from shooting a foot). Disable restore and clean again then see if it's gone.
