Window/Full Screen problem

I have a program (the programming tool DJGPP), i've been trying to run it in full screen but every time it is in full screen it returns to window mode just after a few seconds (without me even touching the computer). Can this be fixed and how? Thanks for the help.

Did you try clicking on the edges and stretch it to full window, hold down the ctrl button and close it. It should reopen in the full window.
