CPU/Ram: athlon xp 2700//512 MB

i have got folders named as $Uninsallkb840374$ etc etc and one folder called $hf_rig$,all these folders are faded in the window they show up in..can i delete these folders safely?

I wouldn't touch them. They're grey b/c they're hidden. And probably hidden for a reason. Someone else may be able to shed a bit more light on this.
