Window Explorer Folder View

hi all, I hate window XP explorer...when i click on a folder it expands sub folders in the left hand section... in prev windows ie. 98 and 2k the left hand section only expands sub folders when double clicking it... Does anyone know if its possible to change this setting? Its driving me nut... Thanks Jase

Try... Tools>Folder Options>View tab... uncheck "Display simple folder view in Explorer's Folder lists"

Jase thank u for raising the issue and, HiJinx, thank u for providing the solution. I have also been bugged by this explorer function and I must have thought the function indispensable as I did not raise the issue as Jase did. Thank u again!
