Since then everytime I try to start up my computer I get a message saying. C:windows\system32\system32.exe. Now most of all my program wont start up, I get a message saying: windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. I cant use my Macromedia, Adobe Photoshop, AOL, Messenger and many other programs I use all the time. Im not much a computer savy kind of person. system32.exe is a virus. Delete it from the windows/system32 folder. DON"T DELETE THE FOLDER. Start-run-msconfig-startup and uncheck the refernce to system32.exe.

I think you will also find that it has deleted some critical files from your computer. I had something very similar happen to my computer when it got infected with W32/yaha.k

I am fairly sure this is the registry key it changes to stop executable files from running:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\exefile\shell\open\command "(Default)". [where default is the process used to open .exe files].

Perhaps you ought to run an web-based virus scan... I can't remember any URL's for them off of the top of my head but there literally hundreds out there which can kill this virus. :)

Hope I was of some help :)
