Hi all,

I desperately need help here.

When I use my new Win XP pro PC connect to Pacbell DSL, I can't not open my my Yahoo email, but there's no problem when I use my other Win 98 SE pc with Pacbell DSL connection. It's also Ok when I use Win XP with modem dial-up connection to read Yahoo email.

I also have same problem when I tried to use Win XP/Pacbell DSL/VPN to access my company's Outlook email, but it worked fine with Modem dial-up and with my other Win 98 SE PC.

Seems that there's problem with Win XP/Pacbell DSL connection, I've asked the pacbell DSL tech support but can't get resolved.

This problem prevent me from access my company's email thru VPN. Now I'm thinking to install a 98 SE dual boot on my Win XP machine, but that's a lot of work and potential problem after I checked the internet even use the PartitionMagic 8.

Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I found the problem! After I changed the NIC card from a Gell generic card to a D-LINK nic card, everything is working fine.
