Comment: I can get the fast track 100 to set up the raid array, then I boot from cd to start the windows xp instalation then I press f6 to install a driver. I downloaded the newest promise raid driver from asus and select windows xp fast track 100 controler and when it comes up to the partition part it shows no hardrives installed. Configuration: ausu a7v-133 bios rev. 1007 384 mb pc 133 Geforce 3 TI200 w/ 128mb Soundblaster live 5.1 w/live drive IR 2 maxtor 40gb ATA 100 7.2k 1 20 gb Segate ATA 66 7.2k Baracuda (was not conected during raid setup or windows xp instal. 48x cd-rom 2x cd-rw 10/100 net card

Reply: (edit)sounds driver related, try to find another one or download it again from another site and MAKE sure that you use the XP and not the 2000 Driver.

Reply: (edit)try this. turn on your system and go into the Fastrak 100 BIOS and configure your raid setup. reboot to a WinME or DrDos disk. Fdisk the partition - create one large one. reboot to the xp cd / press f6 to load the drivers off the floppy and it should see the raid set and ask how you want to format it (fat32 or ntfs) hope this helps

Reply: (edit)I had a another issue w/ installing xp. I hit f6 and installed the xp driver. It took the driver and went on. Once it got to the point where it was making a list of files to copy it asked for the driver disk again. I can't find a driver to get past that point. Any ideas?
