I switched my windows xp from normal to selective startup mode. But when I try switching back to Normal startup mode or try changing some of the startup setting, it won't let me enable my changes saying I need to log on as an administrator to do so. After I ok the message, it prompt a restart as afterwards my changes did not take effect. However, I was indeed logged on as an administrator doing so, as I've even check the user accounts from the control panels confirming this. Yet, it does not recognize me as an administrator even though I'm logged on to the admin account. Now I can't even switch back to normal start up. Weird bcuz they let me switch normal > selective first time around...

Suggestion anyone? Thanks in advance.
