Everytime I start WinXP I get a message pointing to the tray icon explaing hidden icons. How do I disable this annoying "help" message?

Right click on the taskbar and click on Properties. Towards the bottom of the new window that will open you'll see the option "Hide Inactive Icons" or something like that (my Win XP is in Spanish, but I guess that's what the English version must say). A little to the right of it you'll see another option called "Customize" or something similar. Click on it and you'll find info and different options to check or uncheck in order to enable/disable the features you mention.

Thanks for the help but I should have been more specific. My message says "hiding inactive notification icons, click here to see inactive icons." I did what you said but there is not option to disable the alert I get on startup. I can make icons always hide, always show, or hid when inactive? Anyone have a clue?
