I have a problem to connect to a windows xp sp2 computer with remote desktop.

before i installed SP2, there was no problem to connect.

after installing SP2 , with firewall OFF.
i get 2 different things.
1. before getting the logon screen , remote desktop quits without an error.
2. before getting the logon screen, i get an error "the external computer has broken the connection".

Well, I dont know but your one step ahead of me. I havent even been able to get anywhere with that. How did you get it to connect before SP2 I would love to know. I have tried everything, and yup I did open the correct ports.
