Hi everyone. I need help really bad. I re-formated my hardrive which had win me in it using the win xp cd. while doing the re-formating i got a error when it was 100% complete saying setup could not re-format the drive and to restart. Then i reformated using the windows xp repair option in dos. This said it was 100% complete and didn't give me an error like the previous try. i would like to install win xp pro but i keep getting all types of errors when in windows setup:
acpi.sys is corrupted dmboot.sys is corrupted
i tried pressing f5 when in the setup and selected to set up a "Standard PC" and i get the following error:
setupdd.sys could not be loaded.
PLEASE HELP I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO!! THANK YOU!!
