CPU/Ram: Intel Celeron 702Mhz/ 52M

i see that microsoft have a new XP upgrade, is there anything good abut it, because i installed a service upgrade on an older OS - cant remember what one, 95/98 i think - and it completely f"!>ed my computer, any reccomendations?

as long as you make sure there is no adware/spyware/viruses on your machine, and you clean out the temp files, disable hibernation, screen saver, and install it you should be fine
it has enhanced security features, especially if you use IE

dont worrie about it...I have installed SP2 on about 400 computers with different configerations and i have NEVER done any prep work...none of them have had any problems...If you use wirless networking it helps out alot...also a great pop-up blocker is included.

make sure u dont have a celeron D processor, as for sum reason sp2 doesnt like it.. or more like the processor doesnt like it.
