Comment:

Occasionally my Win xp will not boot up properly.....I will get a dark screen with many small blue dots, then when it fully "loads" (the music plays normally) I get vertical coloured stripes across my screen.
Reset button has solved this......until recently the "restart in safe mod, restart last known good config" etc etc page just kept getting me nowhere.
Took it back to shop (under warranty) and he split the hard drive (1024) and made windows xp my 'C' drive and my files my 'E' drive. Also reformatted and re-installed win XP first.....now I get home and only the third day after I got the same prob again yesterday....only for reset to solve it (temporarily, I'd put $$$ on it)!!!

Any ideas? Thnx.
