Hi there! My XP pro system crashes a couple of times a day.
I Have analized the minidump files an they all are the same.
I think it has to do with my AC'97 realtek audio. Cause in the minidumpfile (some
of it printed below) i find the following:BugCheck D1, {f81cb7d0, 2, 0, f81cb7d0}
***** Kernel symbols are WRONG. Please fix symbols to do analysis.
Unable to load image ALCXWDM.SYS, Win32 error 2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for ALCXWDM.SYS
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for ALCXWDM.SYS
Probably caused by : Unknown_Image ( ALCXWDM+4d7d0 )Followup: MachineOwner
********
I know that ALCXWDM.SYS is a driver for the audio, and the audio drivers arent windows
certified either so my guess is that's the problem.
But there doesnt seem to be any realtek certified drivers. I have no idea what to
about it.
please help me,
best regards Peter

Do u have any conflicts listed in Device Manager ??
If not, then u may find that simply re-seating/swapping/replacing ur RAM could solve the problem.
GoodLuck

I have reseated my RAM and its seems to work fine know, it hasnīt crashed for a couple of hours,(knock on wood). Lets hope it stays that way.. otherwise I'll get backanyway:
Thanks alot Keef444!
