I have a little problem with my Win XP preinstallation... When i do the preinstallation with a reverse network cable between my source and my target computer. After the first reboot (after the read of the winbom.ini file on the disket) the computer stay in the bios after the search for the hard disk... Nothing after that... i can't do CTRL-Alt-Del eather. I use a Fujitsu HD for this preinstall.
The funny thing is that if I use a Matrox HD it's working perfectly and the installation goes on after the reboot... with the same parameters, the same winbom.ini fille on the disket, the same cable, etc...
Does some type of Hard Drive have compatiblity problems with the installation of Win XP Pro???
By the way, after I did the preinstalllation on my Matrox HD, I Did a ghost of this one on my Fujitsu and the the two of them are perfectly working...
What's the problem between the preinstallation of Windows XP Pro and the Fujitsu Hard Drives? Does other companies have the same bug with the preinstall process?
