Hi,
I'v have a customer who wants XP installed on his laptop which originally came with Vista on it. I know that he should have gotten one with XP in the first place but this is the situation. He aparently spoke to Sony Tech Support and they told him that XP would work on the laptop but he would just need to purchase a copy of it. The problem at the moment is that the XP starts copying the files and then blue screens. I have had a ;look in the BIOS for any sata settings but there are none that I could see. The bios has only a few time/date adn boot settings avail. for change. I have tried looking for sata drivers, but couldn't find out what the sata chip was. (Had a look in Everest but couldnt find it anywhere). Can anyone offer any assistance ?
