Hi Frends,
I upgraded win98 to win xp, and I found that my floppy drive is not detected. I am not able to use floppy drive. Actually my motherboard is having some problem with the floppy drive port, so I am using ID card to use floppy drive. Through this ID card connected to the slot I am able to use the floppy drive in win 98. But after upgrading the floppy drive is not detected by xp. Please some one help me.

First things first... Don't "upgrade" from Win 98 because putting one system over another always causes problems, regardless of what Microsoft says... Reformat your hard drive, disconnect all your peripherals (including printers or scanners as XP is very picky) put in your XP disk, restart computer, go to setup and then insert your Win 98 when it asks for verification of eligibility. 99% chance you won't have a problem after that
